I'm assuming you'll be able to get the middle row with 4 seats. I'll take that - I don't care to windows, and I'll have the freedom to go to galley / lavatory without climbing someone.

But I don't believe you'll be able to secure a full row after departure, mainly close in the front - pretty sure someone will seat in any aisle, and if you didn't pay for all seats, I don't believe FA will help you to keep all of them.

It'll be easier to secure a side row with 3 seats - you can seat in the aisle, making difficult the access to the other two seats. But you won't have the similar length of a full bed.

Agreed, I think few a/c have tons of seats open in the typically busier summer season. An empty adjacent seat might happen, but I'd expect a whole row to be less likely.
