I'm leaning toward Buenos Aires. One hour time difference from US EST time, coupled with the strong US Dollar and the Argentinean "blue" exchange rate.

if you dont travel for work, how much vacation time do you get? how about multiplying that vacation time many times over? more travel time can be gained by working if that is a possibility. if you have a 9 to 5 job, would you rather go out in your home location / go home, or go out in some other location? some hotels can be better than / equal to home.

We do it all summer long when kids out of school. Grand Cayman, Bali, Tokyo and number of places around the US.
