So-how did you get that cheap fare?
So there have been some really cheap fares on UA,US,and NW that pop up for a few hours and then dissapear.
What tool do y'all find the best for fast notification of these sales?
Yahoo?Orbitz fare tracker?
I get NWA,and Ua emil notifications, and I open my mail often. But these fare are gone by the time I get to them.
Thanks for your feed back

I'm going to move this to TravelBuzz because it's not about miles and points. Note that y'all may also want to visit the Mileage Run forum where folks are quite keen on fare glitches.

Remember the Newbies!
Yes, don't we all turn to FT. But, as a newbie, I can't always follow the postings. I see postings for low fares, but NO info on booking (e.g. does the fare have to be booked through a ITN or the airline's website). Please remember us poor newbies who are trying to join all the FFs and VFFs, but only can manage a few of the abbreviations! A couple of more details would help us.
Thanks.
Thanks.

sorry Gary-I had meant to post it there.
MikeLaw,sometimes by the time the info hits this board the fare is already gone! These are not "oops-someone hit the wrong key fares"these are fares that can be reported as "and the competition matched the fares"on travel info sites(like flyertalk)but it is just P.R. nonsense.
