Will there be an Europe Summer Business Class Sale (2018)?

I've taken advantage of a summer business class sale to Europe for the last few years. Seems to be announced this time of year. Would the speculation be that this will happen again this year?

I don't recall "announced" sales like this. One of the Big Three usually lowers its biz pricing for a portion of the summer, and the others follow - usually for a few days at a time.

This may go back to PMCO times, but I very much remember them publicizing summer Biz sale to Europe. Probably post merger as well, but that I'm not sure about.

The best airfare "sales" are never published nor called a sale.

A good place to monitor is FT's Premium Fare Deals as "sales" are many times in response to other pricing moves.

Try flying in/out of BUD, LYS or GVA.
I booked SFO-FRA-SOF BUD-FRA-SFO for $3,000 a few weeks ago for June/July.
During the winter I got in to BUD and out of LYS for $2950.

MXP and BEG are also quite reasonable at the moment from SFO.

I'm looking at flying SFO-<->MXP in late August. Fares are $10,000+ for Business, $3500+ for Economy.

The sub-$2800 fare is there; better availability some days than others (as is typically the case with a deeply discounted fare). Try google flights.

Thanks. It looks like I was being thwarted by a 7-day minimum.

The only stay requirement on this fare is a Sunday night. No 7 day minimum.
