I am wondering what to have on my flight on Friday. Any recommendations? Is the chicken curry any good? Perhaps I shall try the lamb.

Here's what I'm seeing for an upcoming VS42 SFO-LHR in UC. Doesn't look very promising.

Any idea why the selection is so poor compared to what others have posted? Is the choice onboard on the day usually better?

Exact same four options I just had for my flight from BOS this weekend.

Since I see other people posting 6-10 options, I actually went back in a couple days later to see if more had been added, but nope.

None of the limited special selections at all.

I wonder what the deal is? I haven't flown VS for a while, usually do BA these days but was looking forward to trying the new UC. This looks much worse than the current BA CW offering let alone F.

Looks much better than SFO-LHR! Not sure what is going on with flights from certain US cities. Could it be related to aircraft type?

What's on the SFO-LHR menu? Flying soon, so curious!

Not going to be related to aircraft type - nothing about the B787/A350/A330 galleys that would necessitate that afaik.

Right - didn't think aircraft type would change anything. Perhaps ground ops depending on which US airport.

For SFO-LHR tomorrow it's just the 4 options I posted above: 1) Crispy Coated Chicken Breast, 2) Brown Sugar Brined Pork Chop, 3) Florentine Ravioli (v), 4) Express: Potato and Watercress Cream Soup (v).

Seems like other routes have had the same issue vicarious_MR'er mentions BOS-LHR. No idea what happened to the cool new spring & summer menu VS announced!

Menu LAX LHR 4PM Dearture

Slightly disappointing menu - and no photos included.. on my page when I opened link.

Crispy Coated Chicken, Brown Sugar Brined Pork Chops, Florentine Ravioli, Potato and Watercress Cream Soup (express menu), Vegan Grits, Bangers and Champ Mashed Potatoes, Butter Chicken.

A few of these meals are served in the Premium Economy - not quite worth the cost of admission IMPO.

Does anyone have photos of these meals?

Thanks!
