My Virgin Australia Platinum status is due to be reviewed on 7 July.
I need 65 status credits and 4 sectors. Can travel 5, 6 or 7 July, ideally same day routing from Sydney. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Also, does travel on 7 July (the review date) count? Or do I need to complete travel on 6th July?

Did you miss the triple SC promo? This would have been easy.
Otherwise, SYD-OOL in J return gets the SCs but not enough sectors.
SYD-MEL-OOL (return) in whY should come close. I’m booked to do the later option (J / whY combo) with 3x SCs to get back to Gold with one trip.

But first prize would be 65 status points and 4 sectors from Sydney.
I also have enough points that I can purchase a (re)positioning flight outbound or inbound if needed.

Decided Platinum isn't worth the extra $800 I would have to spend on flights.
Upgrade vouchers that can only be used on expensive flex fares, X seating, and Fly Ahead (which I've used once in 5 years)

They’ve just launched another DSC offer with a big travel window. Given WP qualification has a rolling 12 mth tally, you might still be in luck if you book some work travel and/or can leverage Family Pooling.

Partner and I both checked our Velocity app, VA app and Velocity account on the web and nothing.
Can't find anything on VA or Velocity Facebook pages.
