WestJet - can a passenger hold multiple reservations/seats on the same flight?
Hi, are you allowed to hold two ecoflex reservations - both for myself - on the same flight. One with a return flight included and the other just the first flight booked one way.
I am starting to plan a trip this summer in June and know my departure but the itinerary/return date is still a work in progress. There is a WestJet sale and the econoflex seats are reasonably priced. I first searched the return fare with both flights and was ready to book but then decided to book each leg separately - without pricing them separately. When I booked the first leg - the fare was exactly half which didn't trigger any alarm bells in my head - but then went to book the return one way and it is much more expensive almost double.
Got me thinking, it would ideal to lock in both legs at the current price and have the flexibility to cancel and keep on based on the final itinerary - so wondering if there is an issue with holding both bookings for a few months or is that going cause problems and perhaps trigger WestJet to cancel the bookings
