just called centurion member services. rep said card is being "revamped" with release on june 1, and that there are changes being made to "benefits... fees... requirements..." which he insinuated he did not have all the details on, and that amex would be internally disseminating those details after june 1.

called a second time, different rep. "they have not told us anything yet... but last time they suspended new accounts they did raise the spending requirement"

- centurion requirement raised from $150K to $250K
- centurion fee raised from $1000 to $2500 (primary) and $500 to $1500 (additional) for new cardholders

the starwood card also had an increase in benefits recently, with the additional point per dollar spent at starwood properties/stores, as well as gold status if you spend $30K. and the addition of expresspay, and design change.
