AXC code on RC website not working any more?

I used to use the AXC corporate code on the Ritz Carlton website to check the rates available through Amex Centurion Travel Services, without having to phone them up. How it seems to have stopped working and just comes back with 'RESTRICTED'. Is anyone else seeing this?

if my link is a "dead end" you might be dealing with some kind of forum problem.

bottom line - amex told RC to disable it. any discussion should take place in that thread in the amex forum.

Sod's law demands that the thread about this be in the Amex forum rather than the Luxury Hotels forum, and so didn't show up when I searched.

The failure of the AXC code prompted me to try out my corporate code instead: resulting in bargain €160 rate (including free parking) at the Ritz-Carlton Istanbul - when the cheapest publically available rate was €325, so it's not all downside!

It seems to me that AMEX could help them selves as well as their customers by creating the online ability for their customers to book simple travel arrangements themselves. If for example I could sign in to a password protected website as a platinum card holder and book a hotel rate that I was entitled to based on my card membership. FHR and AXC codes could be preprogrammed for RC FS *wood and others. Of course there are times we would like the personal service of dealing with a CSR for more complex arrangements and I for one would not want to give that up.
